Zelenskyy says U.S. knows how to deal with dictators
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has commented on a U.S. special operation in Venezuela, saying Washington has shown how dictators should be dealt with.
“If dictators can be treated this way, then the United States knows exactly what it should do next,” Zelenskyy told a briefing in Kyiv.
He noted that Ukraine’s foreign ministry had earlier not formally objected to U.S. actions, while stressing that questions over the operation’s legitimacy remain.
Zelenskyy said the U.S. example could serve as a guideline for the international community in responding to authoritarian regimes.
