Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov said he has appointed his 20-year-old son Akhmat Kadyrov as acting deputy prime minister of Chechnya.

Kadyrov said Akhmat Kadyrov will also retain his post as the region’s minister for physical culture and sport, Russian media reported.

The acting deputy prime minister role has also been assigned to Akhmed Dudayev, Chechnya’s minister for national policy, external relations, press and information.
