Trump says he will hold phone call with Turkey’s Erdogan

U.S. President Donald Trump said he would hold a phone call with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“I like Erdogan very much. We will have a very important phone call,” Trump told a news conference at the White House.

Trump also commented on Syria, saying he had spoken a day earlier with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa and discussed the situation in prisons holding what he described as some of the world’s most dangerous militants.
