Medvedev Quips Over Missing iPhone Manuals at Public Forum
Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council, dismissed the existence of iPhone user manuals during an exchange at a national public services forum on Wednesday.
When Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko asked attendees if they had ever read their phone's instructions, Medvedev interjected, claiming no such document exists inside the box.
Even after Grigorenko clarified that the manuals are available in digital format, the former president responded ironically, "Then it doesn't exist." Known for his early adoption of Apple products during his presidency, Medvedev’s lighthearted remarks come amid a broader Russian government push to shift officials away from Western technology due to security concerns.
