U.S. ends partial government shutdown
U.S. President Donald Trump signed a package of funding bills, ending a partial federal government shutdown that lasted nearly four days.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Trump said the legislation would support key programmes critical to the safety and prosperity of Americans while curbing wasteful federal spending.
The bills were approved by the U.S. Senate last Friday and by the U.S. House of Representatives on Tuesday.
