Lavrov: Consequences of attack on Iran are being felt across the region

Russia has called for an end to military operations in the Middle East, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

According to him, sanctions against the United States and Israel are not expected in connection with the operation against Iran.

Lavrov stressed that Russia has always opposed unilateral sanctions, noting that this is not Russia’s method.

The Russian foreign minister stated that a war is ongoing in the Middle East and that the consequences of the attack on Iran are being felt throughout the region.

He called on all parties to the conflict to halt military operations.
