Pashinyan says Armenia will not return to CSTO
05.06.2026 11:30

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said Armenia will not return to participation in the Collective Security Treaty Organization and will leave the bloc when it considers it necessary.

He made the remarks during election debates on Armenia’s Public Television.

“We will leave. Are you trying to scare us? We will make a decision and leave. If necessary, we will leave. I have said that we will not return, and we will decide; foreign agents will not decide when we leave,” Pashinyan said.

Armenia previously froze its participation in the CSTO, accusing the organization of failing to meet its allied obligations to Yerevan.
