Kobakhidze congratulates Pashinyan on election victory

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has congratulated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his election victory.

In a post on social media platform X, Kobakhidze said:

“I warmly congratulate Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his party on their electoral success. I look forward to continuing our close cooperation to further strengthen the strategic partnership and friendly relations between Georgia and Armenia for the benefit of our peoples.”

According to Armenia’s Central Election Commission, 1,224,957 people voted out of 2,503,976 eligible voters, with turnout reaching 48.92%.

A total of 18 political groups — 16 parties and two alliances — took part in the election.
