Switzerland says U.S.-Iran talks postponed
Talks between the United States and Iran scheduled to take place in Switzerland on Friday have been postponed, the Swiss foreign ministry said.
The negotiations, which were expected to involve mediators from Qatar and Pakistan, have been delayed indefinitely. Switzerland said it remains ready to facilitate the dialogue and that preparatory work continues.
The meeting was expected to mark the first stage of discussions on implementing a recent agreement between Washington and Tehran, including talks related to Iran’s nuclear programme.
