Armenian serviceman loses leg after training injury

An Armenian serviceman lost one of his legs after being injured during a military exercise, Armenian media reported.

According to Armlur, the serviceman, who was serving at a military unit in Nubarashen in Yerevan, was injured during training exercises in Armenia’s Lori province. 

The incident was reportedly caused by the commander’s negligence, although Armenian authorities have not officially commented on the case.

Several incidents at military training grounds in Armenia have been reported in recent months, prompting investigations by the authorities.
