Eleven Turkish ships safely pass through Strait of Hormuz
Eleven Turkish vessels have safely passed through the Strait of Hormuz and reached their destinations, Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu said.
He said Turkish authorities were closely monitoring developments in the Strait of Hormuz and the Gulf region.
“We are in close contact with our citizens and vessels in the region,” Uraloglu said.
The minister said Turkey was taking the necessary measures to ensure the safety of shipping amid ongoing tensions in the region.
