Pezeshkian: Neighbors thwarted efforts to destabilize Iran

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Tehran’s ties with neighboring countries have reached a higher level, crediting regional partners with preventing efforts to provoke instability during recent conflicts.

According to the Iranian leader, attempts to trigger tension along Iran’s northwestern and southeastern borders were part of external pressure on the country.

"The neighboring states themselves did not allow anyone to freely enter from these directions and cause disruption. This is a very important point. Our neighbors managed to prevent attempts to create instability on the borders," Pezeshkian emphasized.

The president added that the current level of security cooperation with neighboring countries significantly exceeds the figures of previous years.
