Armenian Speaker Simonyan Points to Emerging Trade Links with Azerbaijan

Armenia is moving toward establishing prospective trade connectivity with Azerbaijan, Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan said.

According to Simonyan, Yerevan aims to overcome current economic stagnation and build functional engagement with regional neighbors.

"We are in an economic deadlock. Fortunately, we now see very good trade ties emerging with Azerbaijan. We are working on this, and meetings are becoming increasingly intensive," Simonyan stated.

The parliamentary speaker reaffirmed Armenia's commitment to regional cooperation, adding: "Our goal is simply to work and engage collaboratively within our region."
