Israeli forces kill suspect attempting infiltration into southern Syria position
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) shot and killed an individual who allegedly attempted to infiltrate a military outpost located within the occupied territory in southern Syria, the military's press office announced.
According to the Israeli military, the suspect was detected while trying to breach the fortified position and was neutralized by gunfire; no Israeli casualties were reported. The IDF stated it will maintain operational activities across the sector. Syrian authorities have yet to issue an official comment on the incident. Concurrently, reports indicate that Israeli troops entered the village of Al-Asbah in Syria's Quneitra province to carry out house-to-house searches.
