Azerbaijan, U.S. discuss TRIPP, transport and AI cooperation
Azerbaijan and the United States exchanged views on the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) initiative and discussed cooperation in transport and artificial intelligence under their strategic partnership charter, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Digital Development and Transport said.
The discussions took place during a meeting between Deputy Digital Development and Transport Minister Rahman Hummatov and Rebecca Neff, senior adviser at the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Economic, Energy and Business Affairs.
The sides said Azerbaijan-U.S. relations had reached the level of a strategic partnership and stressed the need to make more effective use of existing cooperation potential.
They also discussed cooperation on international transport corridors passing through Azerbaijan.
In addition, the parties reviewed prospects for U.S. companies to participate in transport infrastructure projects in Azerbaijan, as well as initiatives involving artificial intelligence, data centres and other priority areas.
