Zelenskyy warns Russia-Iran drone cooperation could trigger global war
Russia’s cooperation with Iran on the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) poses a serious threat and could even lead to a Third World War, for which the world is not prepared, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview with Irish blogger Caelan Robertson, citing UNIAN.
Zelenskyy noted that during the early stages of the full-scale war, Russia actively used weapons supplied by Iran against Ukraine. According to him, Iran is currently using similar technologies in conflicts in the Middle East and is carrying out attacks on US military bases. Ukrainian intelligence has also identified Russian-made components in “Shahed” drones used in the war.
