Armenia to hold joint exercises with US on its territory

The US-Armenia joint military exercises EAGLE PARTNER 2023 will be held on Armenian territory from September 11 to 20,  reported from the Armenian media quoting the country’s Ministry of Defense.

"As part of preparations for participation in international peacekeeping missions, from September 11 to 20 in Armenia, in particular, at the Zar training center of the peacekeeping brigade and the training center N of the Ministry of Defense, the joint Armenian-American exercises EAGLE PARTNER 2023 will be held,” the statement reads.

The purpose of the exercises is to increase the level of interaction between the unit participating in international peacekeeping missions as part of peacekeeping operations, exchange experience in managerial and tactical communication, as well as increase the readiness of the Armenian unit for planned assessments of the Operational Capabilities Concept of the NATO Partnership for Peace.
