Armenian Airlines has been suspended from operating flights for six months, according to the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia, informs referring to local media.

The air carrier's Air Operator Certificate (AOC), which allows it to operate commercial flights, has been suspended. This is due to the airline's lack of suitable aircraft or lease agreements.

The decision to suspend the certificate was made on May 6. If the company fails to submit suitable aircraft or lease agreements to the Committee within six months, the certificate will be permanently revoked.
