Azerbaijan has semi-officially welcomed Armenia's proposals to unblock transport communications in the region, Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said during a joint session of parliamentary commissions on Thursday, as the country discussed its draft budget for 2025.

Mirzoyan stated, "We have submitted proposals to the Azerbaijani side, which have been semi-officially welcomed. I say this to demonstrate that a certain positive atmosphere has formed here as well."

The Foreign Minister further emphasized that Yerevan will continue to work with the Azerbaijani side in the near future, not only on the issue of unblocking communications but also in other areas where agreement can be reached at this stage.
