Azerbaijan sharply boosts gold imports in January–September

Azerbaijan imported 38,477 tonnes of gold worth $3.75 billion in January–September 2025, the State Statistics Committee reported.

The value of imports doubled from a year earlier — rising by $1.9 billion — while volumes increased by 61.3%, or 14.6 tonnes.

The top suppliers of gold to Azerbaijan during the period were Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States.
