Baku Media Center is working on the project called 'The alienated graves'.
According to News.Az, the project stipulates for shooting a documentary about the amazing life of members of the Azerbaijani delegation which was sent to the Paris Peace conference in January 1919 under the leadership of Alimardan bey Topchubashov.
As is known, thanks to the hard and intensive work of the delegation the de-fact independence of Azerbaijan was recognized in January 1920 and in April of the same year after intervention of the 11th Red Army Bolsheviks seized the power. After that the members of the Azerbaijani delegation could not return home. Nonetheless, they fought for the restoration of the independence of Azerbaijan till the end of their lives.
The aim of creating the film on the basis of the documents kept in the archives of Paris, Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Tbilisi is perpetuation of the memory and importance of Azerbaijanis who suffered the pain of eternal exile.
In addition, the project envisages publication of an album-book about the members of the delegation, as well as other Azerbaijanis obliged to live in exile in France for these or other reasons.
