BTC increases Azerbaijan crude exports in January

The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) main export pipeline shipped 2.5 million tons of Azerbaijani oil in January, up from 2.4 million tons a year earlier, state energy company SOCAR said.
BTC delivered a combined 602,066 tons of Kazakh and Turkmen oil, up from 488,861 tons.
Azerbaijan also uses the Baku-Supsa and Baku-Novorossiysk pipelines and railway to export oil.
BTC is operated by BP Plc. Partners also include Socar, Chevron, Statoil, Exxon Mobil, TPAO, Itochu and ONGC Videsh.
