Committed to creating social value through its initiatives, Nar continues to support the development of sign language by contributing to the launch of a sign language mobile application in Azerbaijan. This project, backed by Nar, was initiated in September last year with the support of bp and its partners, under the organization of ADA University and the ADA University Foundation. The initiative promotes inclusivity by facilitating communication between individuals with hearing and speech impairments and the broader community. It also enables them to learn sign language completely free of charge and without the need for an instructor. The development of content and methodology for the mobile application is being carried out by the "Support for the Deaf" Public Union.

The soon-to-be-launched application will offer users various tools for learning sign language. A lesson module will allow users to choose topics to study, while the dictionary function will help them easily find words in sign language. Additionally, an alphabet-learning feature will assist users in familiarizing themselves with letters. The app will also include functionalities such as creating user profiles, creating a favorites list, and tracking progress throughout the learning process. Innovative features such as adjustable video speed, gesture replication via camera function, and a progress bar to monitor learning advancements will enhance the application’s usability.

It should be noted that Nar was the first in the country to launch the unified jestdili.az website, contributing to the development of an inclusive society. Continuing its commitment in this direction, Nar is now supporting the creation of a sign language mobile application. As part of its long-term social initiatives, the mobile operator implements various projects aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of individuals with hearing and speech impairments. To this end, Nar launched the jestdili.az platform and has been actively organizing the "Training School" project in both the capital and the regions. Additionally, it has published the "Bridge to a Silent World" book, which explains sign language vocabulary, and has introduced the "Live Book" initiative. By supporting the development of the sign language application, Nar continues to leverage technology to foster a more inclusive and equitable society.

Nar currently provides high-quality communication services to 2.2 million subscribers. The mobile operator adheres to a customer-centric strategy and provides excellent service at an affordable price.
