Forecasters expect cloudy skies and rain across Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan’s National Hydrometeorology Service issued its weather forecast for August 16, predicting cloudy conditions and occasional rain in several regions.

In Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, the weather will be partly cloudy with periods of overcast skies. Short-term rain showers and thunderstorms are expected in some areas.

Temperatures in the capital will range from 21–25°C at night and 28–31°C during the day.

Across other regions, brief showers and thunderstorms are forecast, with some areas likely to see heavy downpours and hail.

Nighttime temperatures will range from 20–24°C in the lowlands and 13–18°C in mountainous areas. Daytime highs are expected to reach 29–34°C, and 20–25°C in the mountains.
