Arutyunyan: Armenia, Azerbaijan maintaining active contacts, peace talks progressing 'at a good pace'
Armenia and Azerbaijan are maintaining active contacts across all key areas, Armenian Prime Minister’s chief of staff Araik Arutyunyan said.
He noted that the pace of negotiations was “good,” with talks covering border demarcation, security, and foreign policy.
According to Arutyunyan, the outcomes of these meetings are gradually being made public — citing Azerbaijan’s recent lifting of a ban on the transport of Armenian goods as one example. The ultimate goal, he stressed, remains the signing of a peace treaty.
