Azerbaijan forecasts heavy rain in Baku on December 10

BAKU, Dec 9 — Heavy and intermittent rain is expected in Baku and the Absheron peninsula on December 10, with some areas likely to see intense downpours, the National Hydrometeorological Service said on Tuesday.

A moderate north-eastern wind is expected. Night temperatures will range from 6–9°C, rising to 10–12°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will drop from 766 to 761 mm, while humidity will remain high at 85–95%.

Across the country, rain is expected in some regions, with snow forecast in mountainous areas. Intense showers are likely in parts of the east, and western winds may strengthen at times. Temperatures will stand at 2–7°C at night and 10–13°C during the day, while in the mountains they will range from –5 to 0°C at night and 0–5°C during daytime.
