Azerbaijan and Syria discuss cooperation in media and communications

 Azerbaijan’s Media Development Agency (MEDIA) executive director Ahmad Ismayilov held a bilateral meeting with Syrian information minister Hamza al-Mustafa on the sidelines of the “Bridge” media and content industry summit in Abu Dhabi, the agency said on Thursday.

The discussions focused on cooperation prospects in media and communications, expanding information exchange and areas of mutual interest.

The two sides also discussed combating disinformation, creating a reliable information environment, strengthening dialogue and developing institutional ties.
