Police solve 40 crimes in Azerbaijan on December 15 – Interior Ministry

Azerbaijan’s police solved 40 crimes nationwide on December 15 as a result of operational and preventive measures, the Interior Ministry said.

According to the ministry, 264 wanted individuals were detained during the day. Of these, 231 were wanted as debtors and were handed over to the relevant authorities.

The ministry also reported six drug-related offences and 14 cases involving the illegal possession of weapons and ammunition.

In addition, 26 people suspected of committing crimes were detained and placed under investigation.
