Snow expected in some regions on Saturday – forecast

Weather in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula is expected to remain mostly dry on December 27, while snowfall is forecast in some regions of Azerbaijan, the National Hydrometeorological Service said.

In Baku and Absheron, conditions will be partly cloudy with occasional overcast periods. A mild south-westerly wind will shift to a north-westerly direction in the evening. Temperatures will range from 2–4°C at night to 6–9°C during the day.

In the regions, intermittent precipitation and snowfall are expected from northern and western areas during the daytime. In mountainous areas, frost is forecast overnight, with a risk of icy roads in some locations.
