Russia boosted oil product exports in early August to 2.31 million barrels per day, the highest level since February 2022, Bloomberg reported, citing data from analytics firm Vortexa.

Shipments rose by 9% compared to July. Fuel oil exports surged 48% to 882,000 barrels per day — the highest volume since the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Deliveries to Asian countries also jumped significantly, rising from 290,000 to 638,000 barrels per day over the same period.
