Mirzoyan says Arazdeyen–Sadarak route should be opened as part of peace efforts

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said all agreements reached with Azerbaijan are mutually beneficial and balanced, calling the establishment of peace a pivotal moment for the region.
“What we have gained is beneficial to us, and what Azerbaijan has received is important to them. This creates a balance of interests and encourages the implementation of the agreements,” Mirzoyan said, responding to questions about guarantees of compliance.
He added that involving third parties, including global powers, is not a prerequisite for ensuring the implementation of the agreements, but noted that U.S. President Donald Trump’s participation “could add additional value to the process.”
Mirzoyan also stressed the importance of opening the Arazdeyen–Sadarak section, calling it a natural step toward unblocking regional transport and infrastructure links.
