SOCAR Polymer increases output by 33%, 78% of production exported

SOCAR Polymer, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), produced 97,000 tonnes of finished products in 2025.

According to the company, this represents a 33% increase compared to 2024.

In 2025, 78.4% of total output, or 76,000 tonnes, was exported to Turkey and European markets, while the remainder was supplied to the domestic market.

The High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plant of SOCAR Polymer was commissioned on February 18, 2019. The facility contributes to the development of the non-oil sector, supports small and medium-sized enterprises, and enhances Azerbaijan’s export potential.
