Gold tops $5,000 per ounce

Gold tops $5,000 per ounce

Gold futures rose above the $5,000 mark per troy ounce (31.1 grams) on global exchanges.

According to trading data, April 2026 gold futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange (COMEX) gained 0.1% to reach $5,014.69 per ounce.

March 2026 silver futures on COMEX also increased, rising 0.22% to $77.77 per ounce.
