Georgia’s trade with Azerbaijan rises 8.4% in January-April

Trade between Georgia and Azerbaijan rose 8.4% year-on-year in January-April 2026 to $451.2 million, Georgia’s National Statistics Office said.

Azerbaijan ranked as Georgia’s fifth-largest trading partner, accounting for 5.5% of the country’s total foreign trade turnover.

Georgia’s exports to Azerbaijan fell 1.8% to $211.3 million, while imports from Azerbaijan increased 18.7% to $239.8 million.

Georgia’s total foreign trade turnover rose 1.7% in the first four months of the year to $8.13 billion.
