Our interlocutor refers to those whom the society still cannot accept, but who, despite his young age, is doing great things. 18-year-old Cherkez Sadig owns a company on photo and video services.
"2 years ago I lost a very close friend of mine. Upon hearing of his death, I decided to realize his dream. He wanted to create a company to provide such services and then transfer its activities also to Turkey. According to his dream, I created this company. During the photo shoot I used only his camera. I cannot say how successful the company operates, but I try to develop and expand it. And after the company has been entirely justified, the next step will be to continue its activities in Turkey.
In fact, up to 12 years old, I was very withdrawn and sullen. In those years, I did not believe that I could achieve something in life. After a while I took a nickname Silah and began to sing rap. It helped me to freely express my thoughts. I am no longer afraid to speak to the crowd and I no longer feel discomfort in my self-expression. Since I have not found myself in rap, then gradually I began to depart from music and switched to writing poetry and short stories. Over two years, I have been writing stories on different topics. I use the subjects of my stories in video footage, and in particular, social video. This is a topic I am somewhat familiar with, because when I was rapping, people prone to drug addiction gathered around me. That's why my parents worried about me. With this video, I also wanted to show that not all people keen on rap are drug addicts. Despite the fact that all around me were people of the kind, I never thought about it. On the contrary, I always opposed it. I decided to follow the path of education and now I am a student of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction.
Thinking about all this now, I involuntarily find myself thinking that if I did not believe in myself, I would not have achieved what I have. Now I have to further develop myself and to diversify my activities. True, we face a number of challenges, but they can be overcome. For example, if we talk about me personally and about young entrepreneurs, one of the most fundamental problems for us is our age. Unfortunately, our society does not believe the young and cannot accept them. When we turn to some company and offer them our services, they look down on us as teenagers. Such facts lead to prostration. But when we turn to young entrepreneurs like ourselves, even if the result is not perfect, in any case, they prefer us to others. In my opinion, success, and in particular, business success does not depend on age. And in Azerbaijan you should start some business at 16-17 years of age to be able to get the benefits at 30. True, there are successful young people, but if we analyze the history of their activities, it becomes clear what they sacrificed.
Our society must take the young and give them a chance. We frequently offered our services to different companies. We offered them different ideas and videos. But these companies, spending huge sums on advertising, considered us too young and we were not given a chance. Even if they see the young and the children as their continuation, they still cannot fully accept them. So the psychology of our society should be changed as well as the approach to this issue. I do not limit to us what I have just said. I want a chance to be provided to all young entrepreneurs.
