Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called the visits of US and EU envoys to Central Asia demanding that sanctions against Russia be observed as impudent, reported from TASS.

Lavrov made the remarks at the Scientific and Expert Forum "Primakov Readings".

"Now officially appointed sanction envoys from America, the European Union, and England are traveling around Central Asia. They go and publicly say: 'You are in the CSTO [Collective Security Treaty Organization], in the EAEU [Eurasian Economic Union], in the CIS, in the SCO [Shanghai Cooperation Organization], but you must comply with our sanctions.’ This, in my opinion, is just impudence,” said the minister.

Lavrov noted that these Western states "could have acted more cunningly, a little more respectfully.”

"They humiliate the respective countries,” he explained.
