Petrol price-rise will push prices up in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan’s Tariff Council decided to increase gasoline prices across the country.The price of one liter of AI-95 gasoline was increased to 80 qapiks from 60 qapiks; a liter of AI-92 grew to 70 qapiks from 55 qapiks. The price of diesel also increased to 60 qapiks from 45 qapiks.Qubad Ibadoglu, head of the non-governmental Economic Studies Center, said the rise in fuel prices will push up transportation and public utility prices as well.

The Tariff Council will soon decide to increase bus fares, as well as the prices of electricity,  natural gas and water, he write on Facebook.
