Erdogan to visit Baku on June 12 for European Games

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Baku on June 12 at the invitation of his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev, the Turkish leader’s office said on Wednesday.
Erdogan will attend the opening of the first European Games on the same day. He will also meet President Aliyev.
The Turkish president has not been seen in public since the June 7 parliamentary election.
The ruling AK Party lost its majority in parliament for the first time in 13 years.
The Baku Games will also be attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin, among other regional leaders.
