BTC pipeline cuts crude exports in August

The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline (BTC) exported 2.30 million tons of Azerbaijani crude oil in August, down from 2.48 million tons a year earlier period, the the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan said.

The pipeline shipped 19.16 million tons of Azerbaijani oil in in January through August compared to 19.57 million tons year on year.

BTC also delivered a combined 347,050 tons of Kazakh and Turkmen oil in August versus 486,320 tons a year earlier.
