SOCAR-Azerbaijan win silver at European Chess Club Cup

SOCAR-Azerbaijan have claimed the silver medal at the European Chess Club Cup in Skopje, Macedonia after drawing with Russian Mednyi Vsadnik 3-3 in the last round, AzerTag reports.

SOCAR-Azerbaijan gained 11 points after seven rounds.

Another Azerbaijani club Odlar Yurdu lost to Russian Nashe Nasledie 2.5-3.5, and ranked 13th in the tournament.

Russian club Siberia won the European Cup with 13 points.
