Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney 'missing', according to cops

With all the criticism and jokes, we'd almost say he's had enough teasing.
But it seems Greater Manchester Police don't think that way after they put out a joke tweet declaring him "missing" over the weekend.
The England skipper has scored just two goals so far this campaign.
And on Saturday, Louis Van Gaal's side registered their third 0-0 draw in a row.
Goals are few and far between for the Red Devils with many blaming lone striker Rooney as the problem.
The police voiced thousands of other's concerns and took it on themselves to have a giggle.
They tweeted: "DS Dave-Missing Person-Wayne Rooney last seen in the Trafford area wearing a red shirt , any sightings please inform colleagues"
Yet some devoted fans felt the gag was a bit unnecessary.
