Samad Seyidov appointed chairperson of European Conservatives Group

Chairperson of the European Conservatives Group Christopher Chope was recalled from his post.

Thus, the Azerbaijani delegation head Samad Seyidov will represent the Council of Europe in the most important institutions of the Council of Europe - presidential committee, bureau meetings and will be one of the policy makers of the Council of Europe along with the chairpersons of five parties till January 25.

The activities of political parties are of particular importance within the PACE political bureau. The five political parties are operating in PACE and most members of the Azerbaijani delegation are member of the European Conservatives Group.
