Azerbaijani Olympic Team headed to Brazil

The Azerbaijani team left for Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on August 1 to represent Azerbaijan at the 31st Summer Olympic Games.
The solemn "see off” ceremony was held for the Azerbaijani national team heading to the Rio Olympics, APA reports.
56 sportsmen will represent Azerbaijan in Rio de Janeiro. More than half of them will take part in the Olympic Games for the first time.
Azerbaijan will be represented in 18 sports and 4 of them - triathlon, archery, cycling and canoe slalom are for the first time.
