Azerbaijani flag raised in Rio Olympic village

A ceremony has been held in the Rio de Janeiro Olympic village to raise the Azerbaijani tricolor, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Youth and Sports said August 3.

The event were attended by First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov, Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov, vice president of the National Olympic Committee Chingiz Huseynzade, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Brazil Elnur Sultanov, first deputy general director of the TASS agency Mikhail Gusman, athletes and others.
