Azerbaijani boxer Abdulkadir Abdullayev (91kg) has defeated his French rival Paul Omba Biongolo in preliminaries of the Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games.

Abdullayev qualified for the quarterfinal after beating Biongolo by TKO because of an injury.
