Azerbaijani boxer advances to 1/8 finals at Rio Olympics

Azerbaijani athlete Sotomayor Collazo Lorenzo (weight category 64 kg) advanced to the 1/8 finals in boxing competitions as part of Rio 2016 Olympic Games on August 12.

Sotomayor gained a victory over Ukrainian Matviichuk Volodymyr.

The 31st Summer Olympic Games will be held in Rio on Aug.5-21, while the 15th Summer Paralympic Games will take place on Sept.7-18.
