Azerbaijani boxer advances to 1/4 finals at Rio Olympics

Azerbaijani athlete Teymur Mammadov (weight category 81 kg) advanced to the 1/4 finals in boxing competitions as part of Rio 2016 Olympic Games on August 12.

Mammadov gained a victory over Hollander Mullenberg Peter.

The 31st Summer Olympic Games will be held in Rio on Aug.5-21, while the 15th Summer Paralympic Games will take place on Sept.7-18.
