Islamic Solidarity Games tickets to go on sale March 2017

Rahimov made the remarks at a press conference Nov. 8 following the fourth meeting of the Coordination Commission on preparations for the Islamic Solidarity Games, Trend reports.

He added that the tickets will be sold in the same way as during the first European Games.

"Sale points will open in several places in Baku, including the shopping centers that are the event partners,” the minister said. "The tickets will also be sold online.”

Rahimov said the ticket prices will not be higher than during the first European Games.

The minister also said the opening and closing ceremonies of the event will be organized at the highest level as during the first European Games and other projects.

He added that the ceremonies will be very colorful and interesting.

"The opening and closing ceremonies will be held at the Baku Olympic Stadium,” he added. "We do not want to disclose the scenario of these ceremonies. I can only say that the history of the Islamic world, East will be demonstrated. I guarantee that the event will be very interesting.”
