Iran deputy foreign minister in Moscow to seek Russian support over US sanctions

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani is visiting Russia, informs Mehr news agency.

In Moscow, the Iranian deputy foreign minister met with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov and Russian President Vladimir Putin's Special Envoy for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.

He discussed with Russian officials the start of talks with Germany, Britain, France, Russia, and China on the lifting of US sanctions on Iran. The sides exchanged views on the state of bilateral relations between Iran and Russia, as well as regional and international developments.
