Peskov: Last year’s trilateral statement on Karabakh extremely important

The trilateral statement of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia dated November 9, 2020 is extremely important, its significance can hardly be overestimated, Russian Presidential Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told journalists, reported from TASS
"We assess these documents as extremely important for both Azerbaijan and Armenia, as documents that allowed ending the war and embarking on the path of peaceful development of the regional economy and infrastructure,” Peskov said.
"The Russian peacekeepers, the Russian contingent are performing their functions [in the region], ensuring security, monitoring the ceasefire, the process of returning refugees. This is extremely important. Therefore, the significance of the signed documents can hardly be overestimated,” he added.
